Hey Zoobie, I know you feel,

Hey Zoobie,

I know you feel, I was buying legit targeted double opt-in leads and got banned from host gator. Really I thought I was completely legit. I purchased ARP Autoresponder Plus and had it installed on my server. Then I started by sending out 500 emails to this list I bought 3% return, I was stoked.

So I bought like 100,000 more email addresses and sent out 5,000. Next thing I know hostgator bans me for spamming. I guess they have a 5,000 emails sent an hour limit. Still I am like what the hey, I only sent 5,000.

Or so I thought, I come to find out ARP keeps resending the messages up to 4 times if they do not go through the first time. so since most of my targeted double opt-in leads for some reason closed they accounts ARP was resending at a rate of 30,000 emails an hour.

Anyways I thought I was doing everything right. It is a bummer to get banned from the cheapest best service out there. If anyone wants to buy a second hand version of ARP let me know at http://www.sixminutestosuccessbonus.com

Live and learn.

Hmmm, it was late 2002 and I

Hmmm, it was late 2002 and I knew people were making money on the internet.

So I joined a Matrix program. I thought, this will be easy money.. It's totally legit.
Yeah right....
All I had to get was 10 people who got 10 people who got 10 people and so on...
this will be soooo easy I said... I can get 10 people.

well I got my 10 after getting verbally abused via email for spamming. Wow, these internet people sure do have colorful language, but I soon seen the whole thing collapse in front of my eyes.
I soon discovered that there where not enough people in the world to fill the Matrix.
5 billion plus...lol

Surely The owners at the top of the pyrimid were honest right?
They cared about all the 5 billion people Right?

Surely the 10,000 spam free emails I got were legit right?

Wrooong.

My what a difference a few years make in our internet education hey..lol

Ok, my story has to do with

Ok, my story has to do with spending a lot of money to
get a tax break for a website - FOR THE BLIND.

Yes, it's true. But here me out before your think I'm totally crazy.

I received a call one afternoon from a "Tax Specialist" company.
They asked me all the right questions (pre-qualified) me and
demonstrated how they can save me thousands of dollars by
buying into one of their online shopping mall websites. They said,
"Get a piece of paper. Draw a circle. Then draw two separate circles
below that one and connect those two with the first one. Now,
the first circle is a corporation we will make for you. The second
circle is your LLC and will own 99% of the corporation and the third
circle is us and we'll own 1%. This is Totally Legit!." He says enthusiastically.

He continues, "For all of this paperwork, legalwork, and most importantly
the online shopping mall website you will only pay us $2500!".

He explained, "Now this is a specially made website and is made
compatible for the blind. You see, any place that the page has
images on it, there will also be text so that the device that a person that is blind
uses can read it out loud. Because of a Americans with Disabilities Act,
the $2500 you pay is a 100% write-off."

He added, "Now ALL THE REVENUE from the website will be ALL YOURS.
100% of it. And your mall is unique. We have one for every zip code in the United State!"

"Can you imagine how much you can make with 1000's of products available to the world?", he asks.

So I bit. And I got bitten.

6 months later the company goes of of business
and an article put out by the IRS says that this exact type of business "...is Not Totally Legit..."

Ok, for fun, but don't hold

Ok, for fun, but don't hold this confession against me in the future!

A few months ago, when I had only been on the net for about 3 months, I was doing a course & it said to join Craigslist & Direct Matches...now, this was just after being told by someone else to check out Twitter!
Imagine, a Zoobie Gran coming up against all this in one day1
I thought Direct Matches was a forum dating service (makes sense),Craigs List was the list that was used to match all the dates & Twitter was a bird cage factory or place that sold birds on line!
Very confusing!

Wow Russell the cartoons are

Wow Russell the cartoons are really cool. Why don't you tell us how you made them. I'm going to make sure I'm on the next affiliate call so I can ask how they were done so tell Brent to be prepared :)

I really thought they were cute and very well done. I think they would be great for marketing and I love the fact that you had John Reese in the third one. I know he's about to launch a product but the way the first two leads up to it is really cool.

Really great marketing.

Russell, I thoroughly

Russell,

I thoroughly enjoyed all the very "real" newbie cartoons. As a 60 year old newbie, brought here by the housing industry in Califormia, I can appreciate what the characters are living. I have been deluged with every get-rich-quick scheme invented in the seven months I have been unemployed.

Zoobie exhibits some of the characteristics of a naive person being assulted by the greedy marketers. I am living proof that this happens on a daily basis. Very few internet opportunities are what they advertise themselves to be.

I have always enjoyed your approach to life and business but have been unable financially to get on your train. This is one deal that is impossible to pass. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to learn from one of the true "gurus" in internet marketing.

When I make it large I will be more than happy to offer a testimonial that will reach the hearts of old and young alike. For your goodness you will be rewarded many times over. Your caring goes beyond business.

Sincerely,
Michael Pearson www.fit50andbeyond.com

Ive just watch the spamming

Ive just watch the spamming video and do feel alot of people try and go down this road as they see a quick fix to a list of emails but in reality most of the lists people buy like that are the junk emails we all use for promoting and rarely ever open and it is a sure fire way to get closed down from using lists like it. so let it be a lesson to all who view. good vid russell,
p.s. why havent you got any of the birds for sale then LOL

Heheheh... the email episode

Heheheh... the email episode was fantastic, especially for me cause I sold thousands of those birds through mailorder when I was a kid... and that was a VERY long time ago. Long before the Internet.

Ask Me About My Button.

Ask Me About My Button. I remember wearing a button that said "LOSE WEIGHT NOW ASK ME HOW" everywhere I went. I would look like one of those cheesy TV shows where someone had a hidden mic on them and they would twist their bodies and lean awkwardly towards another person to try to get them to speak into the hidden mic. You remember how the other person would have no idea what they were doing and get this real uncomfortable look on their face? Yup that was me just trying to get people to notice my button. And then in the rare case someone would actually ask about the button. I was instructed to smile and say "Are you just curious, or are you serious?" So cheesy. I'm glad those days are over.

Please Look At My Button. I

I used to wear a button that said "LOSE WEIGHT NOW ASK ME HOW". In an attempt to get anyone I talked to to notice it I would try to put the button in their face. Think of one of those cheesy TV shows where someone is wearing a hidden mic and in an effort to get the other person to talk into it they would twist their body and lean towards them in awkward positions and the other person would just get this uncomfortable look on their face. Cheesy, I'm glad them days are over.

I am a Truck driver

I am a Truck driver struggling to get out of the big rig and find a way to make a living on the internet so on November 10th 2008 I purchased a "Super Store" paid $6,595.00 to Ispeeway and got it up and running. I'm selling electronics, accessories, GPS Navigation System. The store is at http://www.strategictradingco.com/ if you want to go there. Not making any sales even after listing stuff on Ebay only to end up paying listing fees, I tried other things I've got resale rights to sell ebooks and doxens of ebooks for sale.I read so many books and "tips to make money online" you know the "7 steps to be a millionaire" and the "3 easy steps to build a downline" you name it. I've joined so many opportunities I've lost track of them. I have a word document listing all of my webpages and last night I counted 34 webpages Pardon me but THE LAST THING I NEED IS ANOTHER WEBPAGE!!! Okay I needed to get that off my chest. I just watched 3 of Zoobies videos and I can identify with Zoobie. Right now I have credit card debt for trying the internet thing and that debt acceeds $11,000.00. Payments are coming due and all I can do is get in the big rig and try to pay it off. I'm at a point of giving up on the whole thing. If you want to visit any of my websites I'll list some of them here but not all of them only the ones I feel might help someone else.

True story: I got so broke

True story: I got so broke TRYING TO GET RICH, that it lead me to file for BANKRUPTCY. To make it worse, I was so overwhelmed with all of the information on how to get rich, I just gave up. It was too much information. I kept buying ebooks on how to make money online from all sorts of gurus and still haven't read all of them. I signed up to several continuity programs. I even went to a few live seminars but ultimately found out that the real information was in the super upsell advanced training which I could not afford. All this was being supported by one or two minimum wage jobs and loans or pity checks from my parents (who encouraged me to either go back to school, or at least find a better job). Between being overwhelmed with too much information and not enough money, I gave up. The only people making money were the ones I bought things from.

----------------
Sidenote: After several years of trying, weeding out the fluff and overcoming my own fear of moving out of my comfort zone, Russell was the first one to actually motivate me. I haven't made any money yet, but I've made the biggest progress I've ever made. And, don't laugh, but 3 years ago, a PSYCHIC told me that in 3 years (so this year) would be the year I finally start making money. So, it must be!

I started on the internet

I started on the internet out of necessity. For many reasons I won't detail here, I was left with no job, my wife took all my money and belongings and left, and no one would hire me. I knew I had to create a business of my own in order to acheive the productive, resourceful life I desired. I had one other dilema - I also had the internet "taken" from me.

So, with that said, I decided I had to create a successful business, and the internet was the only way to do it.

What? Didn't I just say I had no internet? Yes. I also had very little income, zero savings, no credit, live in the basement of an apartment building with only a bed a sofa, a tiny TV and a long table like you find at a church basement sale.

So I began. I worked hard all day in a small franchise retail store, making barely enough money to pay rent and have a phone. I purchased a computer by talking a big computer company into giving me credit and they charge me 23% interest on my credit line! But I could not connect to the internet.

Nonetheless, everytime I had enough money, I bought a new info product to try to find the right angle to attack the web. Oh yeah - the web -- I don't have access. Quite literally, I had to look everywhere I could to find access. Using a computer in at work. Coming to work hours early, and staying hours late. Going from coffee shop to coffee shop using free 1 one hour credits with the laptop I purchased with the 23% interest.

I ran myself ragged. I tried to first master real estate investing. But I found the limited time I had, plus the severely restrictive means of getting to the internet severely hampered my ability to act, and react to sellers and my coach.

Next I tried buying and selling of seller financed notes. Again, my biggest problem was only having time late in the evening - when it was too late to contact buyers. I couldn't make calls from work during the business hours, so I was once again fighting against the clock, and my severe internet disability.

I know, and still know that both of these methods above are valid methods for creating lasting income, but I had to become a better marketer, and learn how to make things more automated online in order to defeat my handicap. So, unlike most that - if they had the same restrictions as I - would have given up, I had faith and persistence. I began to focus on learning how to market on the internet.

I ordered one product after another. This course, that course. Tried this service, that service. Got every ebook imaginable. Slowly I began to learn. I got a coach and started following direction. Gradually things began to build. It took a long time to make a sale on the internet, but I knew I could.

I have in the last six months, slowly made sales of products. My restrictions on using the internet are gone, and I can learn at my every waking moment at home. I have started making videos, and using the social networks. Progress continues. Faith and perseverance are strong as ever. I am still broke, but every penney I have made, I have converted back to improving my business. I am near the tipping point and opportunity grows every day.

Now my blog is running well at http://www.hmigroupmoneymaking.com and I have started a membership site at http://www.thinkbigandgrowgold.com. I have good resources for giving away software at http://www.thinkbigandgrowclub.com and I have a new ebook at http://www.thinkbigandgrow.com/timreport.

I will put it all together, one way or another. Watch me!

My Zoobie Moment 2008-09 Hey

My Zoobie Moment 2008-09

Hey I have this great idea.

I'm going to learn how to make money on the internet. So to start with I'm going to buy some really expensive courses. Because you know what they say, "You get what you pay for".

Now, the only difference between this year and last year is -15K in the bank account. But now I know how to make money on the internet.

I'm still living this zoobie moment.

I'm looking for anyone that can actually show me how to honestly "turn a buck" on the net. I'm willing to give that person 50% of 1st year profits plus I do all the work! But here is the catch, you must be willing to teach me for free, using the tools and materials I already own, and we must generate 30K within 60 days.

Peace,
Mike

Hi Russell, This is my

Hi Russell,

This is my Zoobie Story. This happened to me in 2004. I didn't know anything about MLM and I was emailed from another marketer that was with this MLM company that sells health products and they said I had already signed up 250 people. Well I got so excited, I thought that meant I would get a lot of money if I signed up right then and I had to purchase 120.00 in products to receive a check, I thought the check would be for 500.00. This is the % of sales that I thought I would have. Turns out that the computer showed the same names to all the newbies and then they, My Up line didn't tell me That I wouldn't get credit for those people that I had to start selling and I had to purchase a certain amount of products each month to hold my position. I did make some money but after I did my deductions on products I purchase, advertising expense and other I only made a couple cents. That is when I started learning marketing online and I love it. I feel that Affiliate Marketing is the best. Keep up the good work and I really like this new way of Marketing with Zoobie, my friend Soren Jordansen sent this to me, it is cute.

My ZOOBIE Story. I first

My ZOOBIE Story.

I first started on the internet back in 2001 about 2 weeks before the 9/11 tragedy. I did the E-Bay thing, affiliate marketing, and MLM. I've had some success with a few MLM's but nothing to brag about. I'm currently involved in the nutritional supplements field witha company called TriVita.

http://www.gethealthyandwealthynow.com

I figure if I don't get this one going good then at least I'll be healthy.

I'm also promoting http://mymastermindsystem.com which is a funded proposal system.

With this system I'm building residual income and a list of targeted prospects I can market my business to. I do hope Zoobie And Russel can show me more ways to get my message to people who are interested in what I have to offer.

Zoobie has now learnt how to

Zoobie has now learnt how to put a website online and bought some PLR License products to sell. He is not able to bring any traffic to his new site.

He is receiving emails from all these Gurus promising him millions if he buys they product and he is buying and trying some and then moving to a new one. He also cannot concentrate as he is wasting a lot of time checking emails and using social media and wasting a lot of time.

Every week there is a product launch which is a very limited offer and if Zoobie does not buy the product he may loose out as this is a one in a life time opportunity.

Zoobie is buying all these products but does not have time to properly follow any of these products as he is distracted with a new one every few days.

Zoobie needs help!!!!

Hi Zoobieites, I started

Hi Zoobieites,
I started on the Net in 2000 with one proposition to make money writing books and ebooks. I have tried every marketing program imaginable, with barely a result.
All these years later, and I have books, ebooks, ebooklets, squeeze pages, article after article, and I still am not making it.
Most recently, I hired a coach, to help me make what he's making. He said I could do it with ebooks alone. So, I followed everything this guy said, worked 12 hours a day, every day for nearly 7 months. And he helped me produce even more content and ebooks.
But the making a living marketing ebooks is still eluding me. It turns out my coach wasn't all that good at coaching. He wanted me to create recurring payment sites, create a $5000 product, outsource my writing to freelancers (when my goal is to be a writer and make money with my own books), and so on.
Call me a weary Zoobie ... of supporting the get rich quick schemes of others. I absolutely love to write how-to books and ebooks ... and I am hoping that a Zoobie who has experienced success can help out Ol' Koobie.

I await your Zoobalicious response,

Keith

My Zoobie Experience: I was

My Zoobie Experience:

I was first exposure to MLM (network marketing) in the early 1970’s while I was in college. My cousin called and invited me to a meeting; he had something he wanted to share with me. As he was my cousin I said yes and went to the meeting. If my memory serves me correctly I was the only “prospect” at the meeting. I purchased a bottle of the product, some kind of liquid soap, just because I couldn’t tell my cousin no, and went home. We have not seen to each other since then.

Several years after graduating from college, a colleague and his wife showed up on our doorstep unannounced late one evening and proceeded to give us a long presentation about their company. My wife and I had never requested nor even given any slight indication that we had any interest in their products or business, yet late one night they just barged into our home uninvited.

Needless to say, that after those experiences we were never big fans of Network Marketing. However occasionally I did find some products from several MLM companies that I felt would be of benefit to my patients. I would join the MLM company just to get the products for my patients, but would never mention anything about the company to my patients.

A few years ago one of my patients introduced me to a product from a new network marketing company. The product intrigued me, so I registered with the company and started recommending it to my patients. As with other company’s products, I did not mention a word about the company or business opportunity to any of my patients.

A few months after joining this company I received a notice that a doctor would be in town speaking on the product. Since I was interested in learning more about the product and its uses I went to the meeting.

After the doctors presentation (which I enjoyed because he gave a lot of information on the science behind the product), there was a business meeting also. Since I was already there, I stayed for the business portion of the meeting. I don’t remember the name of the person, but he gave a very good presentation. The opportunity that residual income offered was suddenly very clear to me.

I can’t say that I was completely sold on network marketing. But I did see why so many people get involved with MLM. I decided to give it a trial run and started working on the business. Since I had a “captive” audience with my patients it was easy at first. In a short while I started to receive some nice checks in the mail, nothing fantastic – but large enough that I became more interested in pursuing the business actively.

However I soon realized that to make a full-time income I was going to have to grow beyond my patient base of associates and customers. That’s where I hit the proverbial brick wall. This was more difficult that I had originally planned on.

Like most new associates, I started going to meetings, inviting people to opportunity meetings (I see visions of my cousin). Making appointments to show the comp plan; mailing out info to prospects. I did everything my up-line told me to do (except showing up un-announced at 10 PM on someone’s doorstep – I had some self respect).

Then I learned about buying leads and cold calling people. So I purchased a leads list and started calling people. It sounded good – if someone requested information by putting their name on a list, they must want you to call them – RIGHT? Naturally my wife was very supportive of all my efforts (NOT), especially after she saw the phone bill. On top of it all, I had not enrolled a single person.

Next I was told that I was doing it all wrong and that I needed to call other network marketers, so I needed a genealogy list. Out came the credit card (again) and I got my list of genealogy leads. I must admit that I did recruit a few this way – about one per thousand calls. Not a very good R.O.I. (return on investment).

What was even more frustrating was that those I did recruit were not comfortable with making calls – no duplication. To be honest I was not very good at making calls myself, so I couldn’t blame them. I was just very stubborn and wouldn’t quit.

Next cane the Internet and I have made my fair share of mistakes there also - most of them have just been things that wasted my time or like sending an e-mail blast to One Million people and never getting a single response - a complete waste of time and money.

David

My biggest Zoobie story is

My biggest Zoobie story is that when I was starting out, I was buying up as many domain names as I could thinking I could do something with them, but had no real direction with where I wanted to go, anything I thought I could make a website out of, I registered a domain name for it. (and of course, most of the domain names I bought, I did nothing with them or if I started to do anything with them, they were left incomplete). That isn't the story with all of them though, but unfortunately, none of the domain names I bought has brought in any money, in fact, the most money I've made on the internet so far has been with a safelist I'm leasing (which sells advertising to affiliates). The reason I decided to take on the safelists is because as I was trying to make money advertising affiliate products on the many safelists I had been (and probably still am) a member of, I had a "light bulb" moment. I thought to myself "maybe I should be selling shovels to the gold miners rather than making a mad rush for the fields looking for gold", or put another way, "rather than buying up advertising and spending what little commissions I've gotten, if any, on more advertising, maybe I should sell advertising to people hungry for advertising for their affiliate products". That was a total transformation in my journey towards making money online. I'm still not making as much as I'd like to, but at least it'll give me experience in marketing the safelist that I can than share in an information product down the road when I do have enough information to put in an ebook that'll be long enough to sell as a stand alone product.

Zoobie Is the

Hey, I am no longer losing money on the Internet! I am not making any either. Zoobie and I should collaborate on a "Dummies" book entitled "How to Go Broke Online!"

But it is really fun trying to break the code and become the next Russell (about 40 years older).

I started my business in

I started my business in 2005 (officially with my state in March of 2006) as an online retail store doing business mainly on eBay. I had bought one of those massive e-book packs and started selling them and I also became a drop shipper so I could have some physical products, so I had almost 500 items that I sold through auctions and my eBay store. Due to some mistakes on my part from being a ‘newbie’ and a lack of complete information from the information product gurus that I was listening to at the time, I made some money but very little. I didn’t understand how it was “supposed” to work.

I made my very first costly mistake near the end of 2007 and it just about drove me out of business. I had taken advantage of an eBay seller’s special of really cheap fixed listing fees and put all of my products on the market at once.

I made two mistakes, one was doing this as a fixed listing instead of an auction because I was counting on more of my products being wanted than was realistic. If I had listed them as an auction I had a chance of the prices being driven up on the few of my products that often sold and thus had a better chance of covering my losses on the other products. Remember that I had around 500 items, over 460 of them being a physical item rather than e-books.

The second mistake was fine print. Oh, I looked for it and even read it, but I didn’t understand that when they said a listing fee of 10 cents that the other fees still applied. So the gallery fee and all the others hit me. See my mistake? I thought the total cost would be 10 cents, not just the listing fee itself. Something that I thought would cost me $40-$50 dollars and could easily be made up in a few successful auctions or absorb the loss ending up costing me well over $250, I forget how much over that. That wiped me out because, I don’t quite remember what I made, but I think it was less than $20 dollars. It took months to pay eBay, they suspended my account and everything. I gave up all business activities, and threw in the towel.

hey zoobie, Thanks for

hey zoobie,

Thanks for helping me to laugh at all my ignorance in trying to enter this field.

First I spent 7,000 on six sites with stores on line. Then found out some of the tons I needed to learn
before marketing them. So there they sit waiting for me for years to do something with. I thought I had to find
those physical items that would sell well first.

Then I went out and spent 3,ooo on affiliate sites I would have no control over, email advertising done by who knows who for bankcard empire. And that includes ebooks, programs, etc. that sit there not even read yet.
Little by little they get looked at, but my C: is so mixed up, and so many on memory sticks, that the mess
just overwhelms me.

Then being the dimwit that I've been I also did one of those people search sites and have not made a dime.

Then being so anxious I purchase things and find out you have to know how to do things like open a stupid
php program to do inserts only to learn there are about six ways to learn how to do that.

I so suck at internet marketing that I bought domain names and paid for hosting without first having a firm
plan of action.

So Zoobie I can totally relate. I think we need someone like Russell to get us on firm ground to lay that
firm foundation first before anything else.

Thanks,

Anyway the bank had given me a $10,000.00 The company is a us company that I got the web site from. Any way in Nov a company phoned me and said that they would help me with my site by giving me a bunch of things. Like business cards, pens, and other items. I heard from them near the end of dec to see what I wanted on my items. I am still waiting for the items to come in. But now I owe all this money and now way to pay. So I am trying to find a job. I have been trying different things on the internet and have made a little bit of money, but I am having trouble trying to get an email list. I have learned quite a lot but there is still lots to learn. I don't know what I am going to do if I can't get a job. I am about ready to throw the towel in. I get so depressed its not funny. Thanks for listening. Heather from Canada

As many people, I went last

As many people, I went last year into a make easy money scam and I was really ****** when i discovered it. I like a lot the Zoobie cartoons. Make more if you can.

Zoobie would be my middle

Zoobie would be my middle name, if I could even get that far. Being broke certainly has it's drawback s when want to do ANYTHING. Let alone start an online business. I have a reasonably good job, a little frustrating but rewarding in other ways. I am getting too old to handle my occupation for much longer and have had several financial setbacks. I WANT MONEY (so do all my bill collectors - real motivation). So I decide that an online business is the answer and I am like so many others, over the past 9 months, using every cent I didn't have to buy a ton of info that I have very little time to get through and would invariably have to wait to put it in to action until my next payday, if I had anything left. Then I would forget which program I wanted to start on and would have to leave to go to work or fall asleep from exhaustion and am so confused I can't stand it (while my monthly membership fees keep rolling in). Russell's Desktop mentor has been a big help and I can review the material and another person's info has been helpful but I'm still stuck. Must be this short memory of mine but I'm still going to work on getting it right and I'm sure Russell's new program will be helpful as well. Thanks Russell!

PS: a hint. Do keep your purchasing info and all other details pertaining to your merchandise in some organized form that can be readily accessed. It can be a nightmare if you don't!

My Zoobie story is extremely

My Zoobie story is extremely simple: Whenever I got involved in an affiliate program which promised on-line support or telephone support, in case I had questions, and usually I had quite a number of questions, this promis was nearly always broken. So, I was nearly always stuck with usually a technical problem, and there was nobody around who could offer a solution. So, I was forced to give up and accept the fact that I had lost money again on another obviously "useless affiliate program".

This businesses is true &

This businesses is true & absolutely true, the problems of us is that, we just don't know how to do its. Internet, OLB has given many apportunities to people, but people without knowledging the business, joining for a short times do expecting of making money Online.
We do always get the hit of losing our monies & get frustrated from doing them
We even get more worries as experts advice not to do asn't to waste our monies & times..

great zoobie stuff! Zoobie

great zoobie stuff!

Zoobie rocks! as i read from the zoobie stories, many of us have made the same mistakes as zoobie the newbie. i also read that many other newbies want to "throw in the towel". most of us don't realize this; making money online is the same as making money in the 'brick and mortar' world: never give up!!

a business is a business everyone, your business is a reflection of you. are you just chasing the money? or are you actually helping someone?

nobody likes it when you look at them with hungry dollar bill eyes. people will only take notice when you are actually taking the time to help them out. then and only then, will they reciprocate.

keep up the super fantastic zoobie stories Russell, they are very fun and intelligent. it looks like you have many hungry customers ready!

My Zoobie story. My husband

My Zoobie story.

My husband had his back broke in 3 places around 19 years ago. He was told he could not walk or due manual labor anymore. Well, he did. He and I have a very successful Heating & Air Conditioning business. Due to mounting medical bills, too much pain, aging 'bodies' and recession reasons, we are not able to continue full stream with our business. I am not able to drive (medical reasons) and I attempt to make money with various internet activities, on ebay.
Sooo, I started researching material to help me make money on the internet. I would read until my eyes were bloodshot (just like Zoobie).. and I would purchase everything that 'seemed' like it would help me get started. I have a colossal library of books, audio books, cassette tapes, CD's, DVD's, binders, and even VHS tapes. I have read and listened until my hair stands on end from 'information overload'. (This is not an easy feat - since my hair is thick and waist length long) ha ha
I have a husband that is not supportative and I have to do all my research in my room or here on the computer. All the while, I can hear his eyes rolling and telling me that everyone is getting rich by me - buying all the crap products. (Not all are crap! I still subscribe to your items - and receive your Dot Com Secrets for more than a year now!) And hearing his eyes roll and his negative comments, are devastating and make my shoulders sag.
I just want to express my creativity online. I wish to share the country living life and secrets with all those other people that are interested. I have so much to share and can't get it out of my head onto the web.
So, Zoobie brings a smile over to me in Arkansas. I would like Zoobie and Tee to come over and push me over the bump (website creation, and html, and auto responders, Adobe DreamWeaver, Flash). I am still working on it. Just haven't reached the top yet!
Keep up the good work! I eagerly await more informative videos! Josie :)

My Zoobie-story is like

My Zoobie-story is like Zoobie's first, except it wasn't me doing the click-frauding. I don't want to say too much (as I can still make money from the writing), so I'll just skip to the lesson-learned: Tell your friends you write on the sites, but don't tell them who writes the checks.

I remember back when I was

I remember back when I was in College, and I stumbled across a website that had pictures of some guy labeled "Top Earner" with fancy cars, houses, 2.5 children...

I mean this guy really had it going on, and everything APPEARED perfect...

... And I REALLY needed some money fast...

So, of course I fell for his sales pitch that said…

“If You Join Me, You Will Make $100k A Month Without Doing Anything, Because I'm A Top Earner!”

Ok... Yes...

I Got Ripped Off!...

Is that what you wanted to hear?...

... Quit laughing at me!

In the back of my mind I knew I really wasn't going to make $100k my first month, but since that 'Top Earner' said he was making $100k... I honestly thought there wouldn't be any problem easily raking in $10k…

Especially since that 'Top Earner' was calling me everyday promising the world if I would join him!

Boy Was I WRONG!

Yes... I joined him, racked up credit cards, and then the so called 'Top Earner’ vanished into thin air!... Never to be heard from again...

I was so frustrated, angry, but more importantly still broke...

I tried for over two years to make any type of decent money online with no avail...

By then I was married, expecting my first child, and I was still broke...

Sure there was $1,000 here and there, about every other month coming in... but I was spending 4-5 hours a night and it was hardly even worth it...

"The One Call With A 'Super Starr' Marketer That Literally Changed My Life Forever!..."

When I got laid off from my job, and my insurance stopped I hit a critical point...

My wife was almost due, and we had no way to pay for it...

So I made a call... THE CALL that change my life...

I called my former roommate, James Starr, that I knew always fiddled around in Internet Marketing...

I honestly told him my situation, and he said that he would send me a couple of techniques that could help...

He didn't tell me that these techniques had allowed him to break the 5 figure a month barrier in any system that he ever implemented them in...

He didn't tell me that he got to the point where he turned a couple of ideas, a few videos, and 7 days into a $20,000 enterprise...

So needless to say these techniques did help me...

In fact I made more in the first month implementing these techniques then I did the previous year in internet marketing...

As embarassing as it is

As embarassing as it is Zoobie the Newbie is Groovy in comparison to my years.........YES YEARS.... of screw ups.

I started out with the glorious attorney chain letter and blasting my way to ISP shut down:0

I then moved on to party plan where I tried to convince women they looked good in certain makeup they did not and force the next potion and/or lotion down anyones throat:(

I then worked a company for years and did reach the ranks, however I was comp plan challenged and failed to review it before working with the company to end up making a residual of 120 when it was all said and done

And of course the icing on the cake, is all the while I racked up credit card debt and then ventured into to credit repair companies..........hehehe

Do I win?

What "The Secret" has to say

What "The Secret" has to say about the law of attraction
seems to be pretty hard at work on this page, doesn't it?

Let's see. You have hard luck story after hard luck story,
and links on each post that point to websites
desperately in need of paying customers.

Do you imagine that putting a link on this page
will change a hard luck story into
the wonderful success story which this site actually represents?

Posting a success story doesn't really seem
appropriate here in light of Zoobie's tribulations,
but I digress.

I really don't want to dwell for another moment on my past failures.
Maybe in time I will be able to laugh about all the online income struggles,
but for now - I feel for you.

As I was referring to from The Secret-

"Those who speak mostly of illness, suffering, and poverty have it."
"Those who speak mostly of success have it."

Those who make light of failure are most likely already incredibly successful.
Am I getting warmer?

To succeed online you need far more than a hardluck story and a link.

You need to attract the right kind of attention.

Success or failure depends on one thing and one thing only.

You are already successful as long as you know what that one thing is.

I do.

http://magneticportal.com

Become successful.

Just like many other people,

Just like many other people, I also started looking to earn money from having an internet business.

I have bought lot of programs and listened to many podcast, about growing your business, marketing, wealth accumulation, etc.

I did learn quite a bit about internet marketing but never felt comfortable or motivated to apply any of the acquired knowledge. I have not spent lot of time and money in developing any internet business, only in buying some of the programs offered through emial, internet.

I got membership in the Dotcomsecrets few months ago and find monthly DVD and magazine quite informative but I still have not made any money by using any of the information provided. I do want to build an internet business soon by applying the info that I am getting from my membership in Dotcomsecrets and hope to earn some money from it.

Affiliate Blues I've been a

Affiliate Blues

I've been a Zoobie for quite a few years, that is until recently when I discovered DotComSecrets, Russell Brunson, and another really good guy, Ron Davies.

My latest encounter was with Doba, to the tune of 2 years worth of membership fees. But that was my bad, I didn't use my own resources to create or generate a product of my own.

Got my site shut down by Hostgater (same reason as Jeff) but I got them to reinstate me with a total shutdown of the email list feature, no more spamming by misconception.

However, I can no longer upload leads to Get Response, 2 spam complaints even though I had valid sign-up ISPs for all of them.

I've spent untold amounts of money on software & info, just to find out that most of the links are out dated and useless.

But the sky is looking clearer & brighter now because I'm actually starting to see a return on my time and energy utilizing the DotComSecrets magazine, monthly DVD's and have passed them on to my daughter who is trying to make a living off the net. It's a numbers & people game and Ann has lots of them through her online games community. She is doing much better than me.

My real motivation now is the economy, I'd like to see several thousand a month by the end of 2009 and giving away stuff seems to be the answer. I've added to my mailing list over 200 people in the last couple of weeks utilizing Twitter, Squidoo, Blogs, and Traffic Exchanges. I'm learning to communicate more through social sites and post to Twitter at least 1 time per day, blog at least once a week, write a new article for hubpages, these are all things that Russell has mentioned in his articles and videos. I'm trying to quit being a sucker and start doing smarter.

PS Love the affiliate training, I never get to participate in the actual session but watch the video of it.

Nice ones Russell I look

Nice ones Russell

I look forward to seeing the rest, keep them coming.

I have been making money off

I have been making money off of the Internet for about 5 years now. My sites were making money off of mortgage related terms. Tried to parlay the money into other ventures - spend $3k on one of those weekend courses about how to make money off of properties in probate (too creepy - chasing after mourning families to make a quick buck). Later tried to capitalize on the mortgage modification boom. I set up a couple of websites after I found a mortgage modification affiliate.  Unfortunately the modification partner was disreputable - so I abondoned that initiative.  Now I am onto bad credit personal loans. Playing it smart this time - investing in sweat equity in building site popularity.

I somehow dont agree with a

I somehow dont agree with a few things, but its great anyways.
