Joy Gustilo

I'm Joy Gustilo. My friends call me Yoj or Joey but my parents would call me Joy-Joy (I know nicknames were meant to make names shorter but my parents find my name too short so they decide to make it a little longer..). I'm the youngest among two children. I have an older sister who is a Civil Engineer. I live together with my mother and sister. (It's because my father passed away last Feb. 2005.)

I'm a BS Biology graduate from one of the state universities here in Iloilo. I wanted to become a doctor but I
decide to stop for a while and look for job to help me support my Medicine Proper.

My hobbies include reading, listening to music, surfing the net, photography and watching movies.

I also do love sports like swimming and basketball. When I was in High School I joined our basketball team but unfortunately we loss... During my university days I tried joining the swimming team in our College. This time I was lucky to made it to the finals. I won silver in the 100 meters freestyle and gold in relay medley.

Music is also one of my passions. When I was in 3rd grade, my father enrolled me in
Yamaha School of music for piano and organ courses. I attended lots of piano and organ recitals but I stopped studying when I was in 2nd year High
School because my father wanted me to concentrate on
my academics.

I don't have a particular genre of music. I listened to almost any kind of songs. What's important is a catchy melody and nice lyrics.

Books are my favorite. I love reading the works of JK Rowling, Dan Brown, Marc Levy and Paulo Coelho. My favorite books are Harry Potter, Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, If Only It Were True and The Alchemist.

I work as a Link Builder. I do some directory and article submissions. Social bookmarking and forum posting are also part of my daily tasks. Meeting other people from different part of the world, with varied backgrounds is for me the best part of my job.
